Arco Naturale Seen From the Land
The Arco Naturale (Natural Arch) is a rock structure present, in the form of an arch of natural origin, following exogenous and endogenous erosive processes that affected the rocks.
The limestone structure is 12 meters wide and 18 meters high above ground level. The natural arch is located at the extreme eastern tip of the island, in a location which offers a view of the facing Sorrento peninsula and the Li Galli islands and which overlooks the overhang called "o' funno" (the bottom), a place once much appreciated by the inhabitants of the island for its seaside activities.
